About

Two decades in the room where decisions get made.

A C-suite executive with more than twenty years across security, logistics, technology and business services in East Africa. Charles has built high-performance organisations, led enterprise-wide turnarounds, and delivered profitable growth in businesses with revenues beyond KES 2 billion.

Charles O. Omondi

A career built one hard problem at a time.

Charles began on the front line, leading a Securicor operations team of more than 400 personnel across multiple client sites. It taught him the things that never show up in a strategy deck: how service is really delivered, how discipline holds, and how people respond under pressure.

At G4S he ran a KES 2 billion fast-logistics and valuables division as General Manager, instituting the structures and systems that reduced leakage, lifted productivity, and earned ISO 9001 certification. He was recognised nationally as Best Performing Manager.

As Chief Executive of Nine One One Group, he was appointed by the Board to lead a full corporate turnaround, consolidating four subsidiaries into a single, market-leading brand operating across Kenya and Uganda. Today, as Managing Director of Blue River Technology Solutions, he sets strategy and builds the leadership team for a technology solutions business.

Across every chapter, one conviction has held: the job of a leader is to build something that keeps working after the leader has gone.

I am driven by building organisations that outlast individual leaders. Strong systems. Empowered teams. Clear direction.
Charles O. Omondi  On what a leader is actually for

How he works

Four convictions that shape every engagement.

Systems outlast individuals

Build the structures, controls and habits that keep a business performing long after any one leader has moved on.

Teams you can trust

Mentor a leadership bench deep enough to run the business well without the founder in the room for every call.

Governance as routine

Treat controls, compliance and board reporting as daily discipline, not a year-end scramble that surprises everyone.

Clarity before speed

Decide what actually matters, say it plainly, and hold the line when execution gets hard and opinions get loud.

Grounded in finance, sharpened in the boardroom.
